Perfect Pack Canine Training & Behaviour

Terms and Conditions

Definitions

  1. Perfect Pack Canine Training & Behaviour or Perfect Pack  means the service provider.

  2. Client means the individual or individuals who requested the service.

  3. Service means Home Assessment, Practical Training Sessions, handouts, written report, training program created by Perfect pack. It may also describe other services such as administrative, training meetings and other tasks which are necessary in the creation of the Phased Training program.

  4. Agreement means the process from initial contact to physical training, and the following terms and conditions.

  5. Amendments means any alteration to the service and/or agreement.

 

Entire Agreement

 These terms and conditions apply to all communications and/or services offered and/or carried out by Perfect Pack, to the exclusion of any other terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  1. We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time by publishing on our website and with immediate effect.

  2. These terms and conditions shall prevail over all terms and conditions of customary practice or any previous course of dealings the client has had with Perfect Pack.

  3. These terms and conditions apply to all work created by Perfect Pack. Services or products are only supplied in strict accordance with these terms and conditions.

  4. These terms and conditions shall be subject to English Law.

  5. The contents contained in communications (verbal or written) and these Terms and Conditions form the agreement between Perfect Pack and the Client relating to the service, no variation on them will be binding to Perfect Pack unless it is agreed in writing and signed by Perfect Pack.

  6. Each clause of this Agreement is independent and operates separately in its own right.

  7. By agreeing to these terms and conditions your statutory rights are not affected.

  8. Should Perfect Pack decide to waive any of these terms on an individual basis, this shall not affect the validity of remaining clauses or commit Perfect Pack to waive the same clause on any other occasion.

  9. Any alterations or variations of these terms and conditions shall be inapplicable unless agreed in writing by all parties concerned before commencement of any work.

  10. Requesting and/or booking services or using work created by Perfect Pack is automatically agreeing to these terms and conditions.

  11. This contract shall be governed by the laws of England and both parties shall submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

 

Appointments 

 All appointments must be confirmed at the point of booking. Bookings not confirmed less than 24 hours prior to booking may be cancelled. Pre-payment may be retained subject to reasoning.

  1. Appointments may be arranged via Email, Phone, Text or created manually by Perfect Pack.

  2. Clients full home address including postcode, a valid email address and contact telephone number must be provided to complete any booking. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, Perfect Pack will not be liable for any errors made when booking online. 

  3. Appointment slots available at the time of booking will be offered, unless otherwise agreed by Perfect Pack.

  4. Appointments are available in 1 hour slots, either on the hour or half past the hour. Block booked appointments available. Dates to be agreed on the first session of the block booking. 

 

Cancellation and Rescheduling Appointments 

  1. Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 48 hours prior to an agreed date and time, without penalty.

  2. Bookings cancelled or rescheduled by the client less than 48 hours prior to an agreed date and time will be penalised and full or partial fees as detailed below.

  • 100% fee for bookings cancelled less than 24 hours prior to agreed appointment.

  • 50% fee for bookings cancelled less than 48 hours prior to agreed appointment.

  • No fee for rescheduling appointments 48+ hours notice period.

  1. Perfect Pack may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 48 hours prior to an agreed date and time, without penalty.

  2. Bookings cancelled or rescheduled by Perfect Pack less than 48 hours prior to an agreed date and time will be penalised and a discount of 25% of the individual appointment fee will be applied.        

 

Payment 

  1. Fees for all services offered and/or carried out by Perfect Pack shall be paid in full.

  2. Payment types accepted BACS direct transfer, PayPal.  Cash is also accepted by prior arrangement.

  3. Payments via PayPal are made in full to PerfectPack.k999@gmail.com or using the following PayPal me link PayPal.Me/perfectpack999 The client will be responsible for maintaining payments to third party lenders.

  4. For bookings made online, the client shall pay Perfect Pack the full fee of the service requested at the point of booking.

  5. For bookings made manually, the client shall pay Perfect Pack the full fee of the service at the end of the service requested and/or carried out.

  6. Perfect Pack is not authorised nor able to offer any credit or loan facility for any services.

  7. All Home Assessment Report recommendations are valid for 30 days.

  8. Any payment returned by the bank or card company will invalidate the booking and it will be cancelled immediately.

  9. In case collection proves necessary, the client agrees to pay all fees (including all legal fees and court costs) incurred by that process. If for any reason whatsoever Perfect Pack are unable to provide an agreed product or service in accordance with these terms and conditions our liability shall be limited in its entirety to a proportional refund of any fees paid by you for the service or product.

  10. All administrative fees to third parties and the time taken to organise will be charged to the client irrespective of any quoted amount set out in the quotation with its specifications.

 

Cancellation & Termination of agreement

Perfect Pack may, by written notice, terminate any agreement at its discretion: 

  1. If the client fails to pay which has become overdue.

  2. If the client breaches any of the terms of the agreement.

  3. If Perfect Pack discovers that the client’s use of services provided is unethical, misleading or morally corrupt.

  4. If the client’s use of services is in any way harmful to Perfect Pack and/or its reputation.

  5. If Perfect Pack suspects the client has/is abusing any animal in their care before or during any services carried out. The Police and Local Authorities will be notified.

  6. The client may cancel the agreement at any time but may be invoiced up to the full amount quoted based on the degree to which services have been completed and on the extent to which time has been allocated to the services that cannot be effectively used to generate revenue that would be otherwise lost.

  7. A service will be deemed as cancelled if there is more than 30 days from the Home Assessment.

  8. No refunds will be issued.

 

Perfect Pack’s Liability

Perfect Pack is fully insured by Protectivity Insurance to conduct: 

  • Dog Training (For training up to six dogs during the same appointment)

  • Dog Walking (For walking up to six dogs during the same appointment)

  • Dog Grooming. Desensitisation ONLY

  • Pet Minding

  • Pet Sitting

  • Pet Transportation

 

Perfect Pack will not offer any of the following services: 

  • Canine Protection or Bite Work

  • Specialist service or assistance dog work

  • Competition or sport training

  • Clinical Canine Behaviourist assessments, advice or recommendations.

 

  1. Perfect Pack shall have no liability under any circumstance whatsoever to the client for financial loss or loss of profit.

  2. Perfect Pack will not be held responsible under any circumstances whatsoever to the Client for a lack of time, effort and circumstances from the work.

  3. In no event will Perfect Pack be liable to the client or any third party for damages or losses to property and/or equipment belonging to the client.

  4. Perfect Pack will not be liable for any loss, injury or liability to the client.

  5. Handlers and/or owners remain responsible for their dogs at all times and are advised to ensure they have adequate pet or household insurance cover for liability in the unlikely event of damage or injury caused by their dog to property or to a third party. 

 

Communication 

  1. Perfect Pack’s preferred method of communication is by email. However, documents can be sent by traditional post, if no email address is available,  a secondary optional mobile telephone method is requested at the time of booking either online or manual.

  2. Perfect Pack shall not be held responsible for spelling mistakes or typing errors to any documents. Signatures are not required to start a contract; verbal communication, email or other exchanges are legally binding.

 

Copyright 

  1. All material, both text and images included in documents are the property of Perfect Pack

  2. Perfect Pack holds copyright of all work created.

  3. Perfect Pack branding must not be used for any promotion or publication either private or commercial, online, audibly or visually without prior consent.

 

Advice 

  1. The information and any treatment suggested consists of the Perfect Pack’s trainer’s  personal views and are based on the information given to Perfect Pack by the client or person responsible for the animal(s) and or the Perfect Pack trainer’s own conclusions resulting from personally gained evidence of the animal and the related behavioural problem.

  2. Training plans, for the most part, will not be successful overnight. This requires a good deal of patience. Perfect Pack cannot guarantee that this will work, as each animal is an individual case, nor is it possible to foresee if another problem may arise as a result of the treatment. All programs are specific to a certain animal and should not be tried on any other pet, only the animal whose name that appears on the information.

  3. Perfect Pack encourages clients to contact their veterinary surgeon prior to putting the actions into effect, if they are concerned. By booking one ofPerfect Pack’s services, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions. Once booked and paid for, there is no refund available.

  4. Perfect Pack reserves the right to adapt and make amendments to the Training Plan during the training period as we see fit, for the benefit of the dog.

 

Locations and Dog Requirements

Location to be agreed at the point of booking.

 

  1. It is only your own dog(s) Perfect Pack will be working with, and their vaccinations, flea & tick treatment and wormers are up to date. Puppies must be fully vaccinated prior to any one to one visit.

  2. A Perfect Pack trainer may refuse to enter any residence, premises and/or location if we feel it is unsafe to do so, for the safety of the trainer and/or dog(s).

  3. The dogs are from the same household. Perfect Pack allows up to three dogs for any/all one-to-one Practical Training Sessions. 

  4. Perfect Pack allows up to six dogs for group Practical Training Sessions. These are carried out in neutral outdoor settings.

  5. You are responsible for your dog at all times outside of any agreed booking. Perfect Pack cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever, to you, your dog(s) or anyone else as a result of your dog(s) or otherwise. You must have adequate third-party insurance.Perfect pack will only advise practices and techniques within the clients capabilities at the time.

  6. The client must ensure the dog(s) have adequate training apparatus, such as collar and lead. Perfect Pack will allow the use of equipment belonging to them during sessions. Recommendations and links may be sent to the client to purchase.

  7. We cannot take responsibility for any loss, damage or theft to your vehicle or your property before, during or after the appointment.

  8. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and supervised at all times during the appointment. 

  9. Hire of privately booked fields will be the responsibility of the client. Hire times must be within the agreed session booking period. 

  10. Provision of dog waste bags will be the responsibility of the client. Picking up and disposal will also be the responsibility of the client. 

  11. If the dog, or any dogs that live within the same household, are showing signs of any ill health (coughing, diarrhoea, vomiting, general lethargy etc) Bookings may be rearranged without notice. Hire of any privately booked fields will not be reimbursed by Perfect Pack. 

  12. Notification of female dogs in season must be made to Perfect Pack at the point of booking. Bookings may be rearranged without notice.

  13. Please note that all training equipment used during training that is not provided by Perfect Pack, must be inspected and the safe and correct use must be demonstrated - this includes but is not limited to: electric collars; spray collars; prong collars, rattle cans and corrector spray. 

  14. If you are late for your appointment, you will not be permitted additional time. The session booking agreed is binding and you will lose the time you are late.

 

Guarantee

Perfect Pack shall create the agreed service for the use of the client. The client may use the service or works only in its original form and only for its original use for the animal named and described within the service.

  1. Canine training work cannot be guaranteed. While every effort will be made to ensure the appropriate training plan is applied, elements can change. Should a situation as such arise a referral to a Clinical Behaviourist or Veterinarian may be advised.

  2. Perfect Pack shall create a training programme to the specifications of the problems assessed at the Home Assessment and will make amendments to the training programme accordingly.

  3. The training programme is specific to the dog(s) that the programme has been designed for and should not be used in part or whole with any third party.

  4. The client shall agree not to sell, destroy, deface, alter or part with work created by Perfect Pack or permit it to be given or done so by any third party.

  5. Perfect pack will conduct regular check ups as we see fit, post training plans. Clients are under no obligation to book any further appointments beyond the agreed bookings.
